Cruises are our specialty — but not our only trick

We got our start focused on cruises, and it’s still where we spend most of our time. Cabin categories, embarkation ports, which itinerary actually delivers on the “relaxing” promise versus which one packs in three ports before breakfast — that’s the kind of detail that’s easy to get wrong booking on your own, and it’s the first thing we sort out for you.

But travel doesn’t stop at the gangway. Over time, clients started asking us to handle their non-cruise trips too — resort stays, European getaways, custom multi-stop itineraries — and we said yes, because the same principle applies everywhere: good travel planning is mostly about knowing which details matter and handling them before they become problems.

What “concierge-style” actually means

It’s a phrase a lot of travel sites use, so here’s what it looks like in practice with us:

• We ask about how you actually like to travel before we suggest anything — not just budget and dates, but pace, priorities, and what would make the trip feel like yours.
• We handle the connective tissue: flights timed around cruise departures, transfers that are booked before you land, hotel stays that make sense with the rest of your schedule.
• We’re reachable during your trip, not just before you book it. If a flight gets cancelled or a port gets skipped, you’re not on hold with an 800 number — you’re texting someone who already knows your itinerary.

Where we’re headed with this blog

We’ll be using this space for the stuff that doesn’t fit neatly into a destination page — real notes from itineraries we’ve built, thoughts on which cruise lines suit which kind of traveler, and the occasional “here’s what we’d actually book if it were our trip.”
